In a vehicle we travel to the coast, to “Laguna Cahuil”, a lagoon restricted only to paddle boats to protect the habitat of birds. This is also the working site of local people who extract salt, the base of their economy.
The kayaking lasts about 3 hours, enough time to kayak along the cannals and stop to watch birds who live here.
Later, we drive to a local caostal restaurant for lunch. Traditional of the area is fresh fish and shellfish.
Before heading back to our activity center, we tour a bit around the coast to see a bit more of traditional Chile.
Dinner at hostal

Day 03 – Horseback Riding and Chilean Country “Asado”
Today is a more relaxed day since there is no driving as part of our activity.
Right after breakfast we go and see our stables since today is all about horses, Chilean traditions and local food.
We start with our horses, which are almost part of the family. They have been born and raised with us and are beautiful part of our activities.
Our idea has always been to introduce visitors to horseback riding, not just riding. We like people getting familiar with the horse each person will ride, help with the saddles and all preparations before riding.
Once horses are ready we start a warm-up session riding around our premises especially to help those with less experience.
The 3-hour ride takes along beautiful trails, plantations, native forest and a lot more through the beautiful valley of Lolol, a National Monument town of Colchagua.
Back in our center, a traditional Chilean “asado” (bbq) should be almost ready, served with more great chilean wine from the local vineyards.
